Designed in collaboration with UK artist Natasha from Studio Coverdale. I’m a huge admirer of Natasha’s creations, they’re colourful, whimsical and joyful- on exactly the same page as the parasols. We both got incredibly excited about what we could create together and the design she produced was beyond my wildest dreams.
This magical, playful and beautiful parasol can make any setting into an enchanted scene, whether it’s a summer lunch, a tea party or a picnic.
I chose a bright pink lining for the parasol and blue and pink fringing, with a touch of black to add some contrast. The pole is black lacquer with gold decoration and the pegs and fittings are brass. The parasol is made in Bali by skilled artisans in around 20 separate stages. It comes with a cotton carry case with a carry strap.
The canopy is digitally printed with Natasha’s stunning design of gorgeously colourful flowers, with a pale pinky beige background. Her vision is of a raucous garden party in day and night - be sure to look for tiny smiling seeds, fresh clovers and Derek the tiny punk iguana hidden with the design.
The parasol is made in Bali by skilled artisans in around 20 separate stages.

CARING FOR YOUR PARASOL
These parasols are glamorous and gorgeous divas and are intended primarily as sun shades so please don’t get them too wet. A few splodges are fine, just make sure they’re fully dried off before you put them away. Treat them as you would your cushions.
Store your parasol in its bag as upright as possible to avoid irritation, away from radiators.

HOW THEY'RE MADE
Our Round Bamboo Parasols are made in Bali, by hand in over 20 separate stages by artisans. They’re incredibly talented and every part of the parasols is built from scratch, down to the whittling of the parasol arms from bamboo poles.
We use sustainable fruit woods and bamboo to create these beautiful parasols using traditional techniques. The fact that the parasols are handmade is an essential element of their appeal: many of these processes cannot be mechanised without compromising the beauty and personality of the fabrics.
The parasols have contrasting coloured or thread-work linings, making the insides (which you look at when sitting underneath) as striking as the outsides.
