Can you tell us about the inspiration behind your La Isla Bonita collection?
Islands have always inspired me — not just for their wild beauty, but for the sense of peace and protection that comes from being surrounded by water. With this collection, I wanted to capture that feeling through soft silhouettes, fluid fabrics, and prints that reflect the quiet, organic beauty you notice when time slows down and you’re truly present. It’s less about a place, and more about a state of mind.
What inspired you to collaborate with East London Parasol Co?
Lucy and I had been following each other for a while, and I’d always thought her parasols would look beautiful with my prints. I also love exploring interior design and bringing my universe into objects beyond clothing, so it felt like a natural match.
How do you embrace colour in your personal style and home?
For me colour is more than just a style choice, it's a way of life! I embrace bold, joyful tones both in my wardrobe and at home as a form of self-expression and celebration. Whether it’s a statement dress bursting with prints or a room filled with eclectic pieces and vibrant textiles, I believe colour has the power to uplift, energise and inspire creativity every day.
What values or aesthetics do you share with the East London Parasol Co that made this a natural fit?
We both share a deep love for summer — we thrive in this season! Celia B and East London Parasol Co celebrate life, boldness, and the joy of standing out. We love vibrant aesthetics, nature, gardening and the pleasure of admiring beautiful landscapes in magical settings. Whether it’s a garden party or a lunch by the sea, we both believe in creating moments that feel special.
How involved were you in the design or creative direction of the collaboration?
I designed the prints for the collaboration, which are the same ones from our La Isla Bonita collection. It was a joy to see them come to life on such unique and joyful pieces, from dresses to parasols!

Do you see this as a one-time collaboration, or could it be the beginning of an ongoing relationship?
Hopefully, this is just the beginning of an ongoing relationship. I've always dreamed of expanding my career and creativity into the world of interiors and homeware, so this collaboration feels like a beautiful step in that direction.
Which is your personal favourite Celia B Parasol?
I love the Corsica Parasol. The print looks incredible by the beach, the bold colors capture the essence of summer perfectly. And I have to say, I love the pink lining underneath — it adds an unexpected touch when you’re sitting under it.
