CELIA B x ELPC - La Isla Bonita
Introducing Mallorca - a rare and limited edition parasol.
Designed in collaboration with Celia B. The floral pattern of this lovely parasol is accented by blues.The design is a digital printed hand drawn pattern by Celia Bernardo, founder of Celia B. The design is printed on the outer canopy and inner lining for maximum effect, and the outer canopy is made from water resistant canvas. The blue threading inside takes an artisan a day to make, and the fringing and tassels are complementary blues to emphasize the beautiful colours of the print.
This handcrafted bamboo parasol is painted cream. This parasol is made in Bali by skilled artisans in around 20 separate stages. The pole and finial on top are decoratively carved and painted with gold, and the fittings and pegs are made from brass.

CARING FOR YOUR PARASOL
These parasols are glamorous and gorgeous divas and are intended primarily as sun shades so please don’t get them too wet. A few splodges are fine, just make sure they’re fully dried off before you put them away. Treat them as you would your cushions.
Store your parasol in its bag as upright as possible to avoid irritation, away from radiators.

HOW THEY'RE MADE
We are proud to present six designs of limited edition handmade bamboo parasols, designed in collaboration between Celia B and East London Parasol Company. The parasol canopies are printed with patterns hand drawn by Celia Bernardo, and lined with parachute fabric.Celia B’s designs embrace color, pattern and playful details. Each pattern is named after a beautiful location.
The colourful tassels, carved wood and gilding are intricate skilled handwork.
Each parasol is hand made by artisans in around 20 separate stages using bamboo and durian wood, the threading inside takes an artisan a day to complete.
The parasols have contrasting coloured or thread-work linings, making the insides (which you look at when sitting underneath) as striking as the outsides.
