For use with our 2 & 3 metre Octagonal parasols. A stunning, heavy carved stone garden parasol base. Made by seventh generation stone carvers from Rajasthan, this is a very special piece and part of India's craft heritage.
This is inspired by the ancient Assyrian relief carvings in the British Museum. I love the British Museum and this section is my favourite. The Assyrian empire flourished between the 9th and 7th centuries BC and these palm carving are inspired by the Assyrian cities of Ninevah and Nimrud, in modern day Northern Iraq.
This is a decorative and chic base for your parasol. It weighs around 60kg. Please do not use parasols in windy conditions.
Please note that the stone is natural and there may be variations – the hole may be up to 2cm larger than the parasol pole as it's hard to make an exact size by hand. Colours may vary due to the beauty of nature.

UK Mainland postage and packaging is at a standard rate with reputable couriers. Shipping for parasols and bases is sadly a higher price as couriers calculate cost according to whether size or weight is larger. We make no money on shipping and wish it was cheaper.
International shipping is with various carriers. Purchases will arrive boxed and well wrapped. Please retain packaging as we cannot accept returns or compensate for lost/ damaged orders without it.
