Natural cotton canvas with printed blue and white design by British artist Harriet Popham. The parasol is printed on natural cotton canvas, lined with white with an Arabian-influenced valance and silver white tassels. The canvas is treated with water-resistant spray.

Our Octagonal Parasols feature water-resistant canvas canopies, and the parasol frame is made from durable blonde wood with our own designs of brass fittings and double pulley system to make the opening easy. Please note that the rope ties off around a brass cleat hook fixed to the pole, not on a hook from the hub. These are very special handcrafted garden parasols, each part specifically made for East London Parasol Co. Every Octagonal Parasol is lovingly assembled to order here in the UK.

This design was commissioned by East London Parasol Company and inspired by traditional willow pattern and chinoiserie. Produced by V&A commissioned artist Harriet Popham, the design weaves together the journey our parasols take to get to you. The playful pattern incorporates tigers, parasols, fishing boats and Balinese temples with iconic scenes of the Thames in London.

The beautiful blue and white colour-way is a chic and elegant style statement for your outdoor scene. A parasol perfect for an alfresco dining table, summer seating area, sunny terrace or pool-side. Matching cushions, napkins and a garden parasol base are available on the website.

The corners are Velcro and removing the cover is a simple matter of undoing the corners and unscrewing the wooden top piece.

These are handmade items and there may be some variation in colour.

This is a very special parasol, each part specifically made for East London Parasol Co.
