A very special parasol produced in collaboration with Warner House to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee, with a frame made here in the UK from sustainable ash wood. The Elizabeth Citrine parasol has a canopy screen printed with the Warner House Balmoral Design in a gorgeous rich shade of yellow.
Inspired by the Chamba Rumals of the 17th century, Balmoral features a dynamic woodland scene of deer, birds and foliage.
With archival designs taking inspiration from its 150 year heritage, Warner House reimagines tradition in its timeless home interiors collection comprising of fabrics, wallpaper, furniture and interior furnishings.
The parasol canopy is made from screen-printed cotton canvas with water resistant treatment, the interior is screen-printed with the Balmoral print on cotton with an Arabian inspired valance with taupe tassels.
The parasol frame is made by local carpenters in Hampshire using FSC-certified ash wood with our own designs of brass fittings and double pulley system to make the opening easy. This is a very special parasol, each part specifically made for East London Parasol Co. Every Octagonal Parasol is assembled to order.

This beautiful garden parasol provides an elegant and sunny focal point to any garden set up. The lovely light ash wood frame compliments the taupe and jewel-coloured yellow canvas. We loved styling this parasol with our hand printed coral suzani cushions, however you could accessorise this parasol with blues, greens, oranges, greys or pinks as the yellow is a fabulously forgiving summer neutral.

Our octagonal parasols are named after divas known publicly and personally, please be prepared to carry out a little care in order to enjoy many happy summers with your fair weather friend.
Please under no circumstances use your parasol in windy weather conditions. A fall will damage it.

HOW THEY'RE MADE
This East London Octagonal Parasol is handmade here in the UK and assembled especially for you.
The gorgeous canopy is made from natural cotton canvas lined with cotton sheeting. Patterned canopies are created using screen print, and each panel of the parasol is printed separately. The pattern is gradually built, each colour in the design is printed separately and dried before the next colour screen is introduced. The patterned valances are a separate printing project with their own templates.
We use pigment inks mixed by hand, and colour match by eye. It’s an art form to create an ink which dries to the perfect shade. Our tassels are hand made in Rajasthan and dyed to match our inks.
The frame is handmade by carpenters in the UK to our specific design. We use pale FSC sustainable ash wood with a cast nylon slider to ensure its longevity and smooth movement up and down the pole. The frame fittings are nautically inspired and made from cast brass.
