I’d always wanted to do a black and white parasol. This is inspired by the Ionic and Doric columns in the British Museum. I turned my sketches of these into a black and white linear pattern which contrasts with the Arabian inspired valance and sumptuous white tassels. 

Our goal is that parasol canopies are like a summer hat and easily changed to create different scenes and looks. The canopy is easily removable to swap with any our covers, or for cleaning. The corners are Velcro and removing the cover is a simple matter of undoing the corners and unscrewing the wooden top piece.
