A very special garden parasol produced in collaboration with Warner House with a frame made in the UK using FSC sustainable ash wood. The Peony Octagonal parasol has a canopy screen printed with the Warner House Peonies design in jade green.
Inspired by the mid 18th century Irish plate printed toiles, this peony and sparrow linen fabric design is reimagined in five colours with a watercolour wash effect, ensuring that this beautiful print does not lose its delicate look.
With archival designs taking inspiration from its 150 year heritage, Warner House reimagines tradition in its timeless home interiors collection comprising of fabrics, wallpaper, furniture and interior furnishings.
The umbrella canopy is made from screen printed cotton canvas with water resistant treatment, the interior is screen printed with the Peony print on cotton with an Arabian inspired valance with matching luxurious green tassels.
Every Octagonal Parasol is assembled to order. These are handmade items and there may be some variation in colour.
White and green are the freshest summer combination, the clean colours of this stylish garden parasol against the light wood frame instantly lift a space. The gorgeous print of this handcrafted garden umbrella blends beautifully within a garden or against brickwork, it’s classically elegant and will work as well in any setting.
This green and white garden parasol is sympathetic to many styling options, we loved using yellows and oranges however almost any lighter colours could work as the green is a fabulous neutral. The cushions pictured are from Warner House.

Our octagonal parasols are named after divas known publicly and personally, please be prepared to carry out a little care in order to enjoy many happy summers with your fair weather friend.
Please under no circumstances use your parasol in windy weather conditions. A fall will damage it.

HOW THEY'RE MADE
This East London Octagonal Parasol is handmade here in the UK and assembled especially for you.
The gorgeous canopy is made from natural cotton canvas lined with cotton sheeting. Patterned canopies are created using screen print, and each panel of the parasol is printed separately. The pattern is gradually built, each colour in the design is printed separately and dried before the next colour screen is introduced. The patterned valances are a separate printing project with their own templates.
We use pigment inks mixed by hand, and colour match by eye. It’s an art form to create an ink which dries to the perfect shade. Our tassels are hand made in Rajasthan and dyed to match our inks.
The frame is handmade by carpenters in the UK to our specific design. We use pale FSC sustainable ash wood with a cast nylon slider to ensure its longevity and smooth movement up and down the pole. The frame fittings are nautically inspired and made from cast brass.
